that once was a gathering spot for South Austin Homeless
They have had to move deeper into what is left of the Green Belt
She knows this-and reaches out to assist.One on heroin.
He shares with her daily horrors of withdrawal and overdosing
Of the casualties of the "War On Drugs"and his need to survive
Each day,his medicine changes.She supplies alternatives
so he can slowly not be @risk to his own life.She cries
when she shares his life.He lives(for the moment)
on a temporary site,deep in the heart of Deep South Austin.
She is his life line.She shares his life in lines /and cries..
