It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?

IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS
GUILTY SLAUGHTER ALL THE
INNOCENTS
Those with knives cut off the
lives
of those whose only
arms
are to hold the living/to hug and
cuddle-
whose every breath extends life over
death
which comes as full stop
punctuation.
Nothing is as inevitable as
life
which grows again in other
skins
despite each John Barleycorn blood
harvest
Nothing is a worthy
sacrifice
For god is lamb among the
wolves
and lays down lives for
love
