It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! LOVE IS NEVER JUST ONE
"THING"
Love is never just one
person-
whether it be lover or
ex-,friend,child,mother,father ,elder,ancestor ,enemy or
stranger
Whether it be cat or dog or rabbit ,rat
or snake or ferret
whether it be
plant,vegetable,tree,fruit,food,drink or distraction
Love is focused energy.It lifts up and
elevates.It affirms WHAT ALREADY IS
You stumble in the dance,unfamiliar
steps present themselves
Should you dance like a Greek in a
crowd or a Sufi in a circle?
Like a Quaker,a Shaker or a
Baptist/Evangelical?
Like Indigenous,Tribe,Clan or
Country?
Like the Present Moment,Past -or
Future?
In youth,i went to Dance Halls-where
groups socialized
via formal dancing and less strict
modes.Now Karaoke,Disco,Festivals,Raves.
Love Changes Us.Love moves with us and
within us and to us and in us and from us
It is always a dance.Steps always
change.
