are defaced or have added fig leaves
covering genitalia.Same with clothed nudes.
There is a man who strips in front of
classical paintings and sculptures,
and is sometimes arrested for
"immodesty"(while his art models are naked )
Who owns words?Codes and secret
languages,Ebonics and Hip jargon
are often culturally appropriated by
"master"cultures/or for commercialism.
Van Gogh in a Toyota commercial.Warhol and
Dali would have charged !
These are unresolved issues.They deal with
commerce,race,politics and commodification of same.
