THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

FOR DRIVING US TO GLASTONBURY

So we could take our fill of Chalice Well waters-

Rust colored waters from the Free Tap in the Lane

between the White Springs and the Gold-

Iron-infused waters had a poet selling his wares 

by the Free Tap -and i asked him why?

"I have to eat"he replied.So i gave him free poetry

Told him to sell it for food.He smiled,puzzling..

White Springs well was closed for cleaning Mondays

We still filled our plastic bottles.I managed to get one 

through English Customs-to share with those 

who already understand about Sacred Waters

and who flow with them..Water is Sacred,as Earth..

We are as Sacred as our Purpose-and devotion

impels motion towards the Divine Within.Thank you -

for singing truth,dancing ,activating future children

in the ways of kindness and generosity,and for being 

the bread of living poetry!
