Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

THREE TIMES THE CHARM

To repeat the rituals so often

we know both the means and the outcome

To go back to each point of self-initiation

Learn the shales and scales and depths of symbols

Metaphors as open doors.Eyes wide opening

Once is never enough.Lightning strike.Epiphany

Saul on the Road to Damascus.Awakening.Illumination

Then chop wood.Chop more wood.Plant more trees

so your children's children children might chop more wood.

"If trees could fight,we would never see a slaughter such as this.."

"Same for all the creatures in our Native Wilderness.."

Every seven years,come to a Scared Spot to learn

Every fourteen years,come back to re-learn

Every twenty-one years,return to refresh ,revise,re-assess

What is at the very core of all creation.Then begin again..
