A few weeks ago I did an interview with Jon Anderson, who is someone I have admired ever since someone played a rough cassette recording of Close to the Edge on the school bus back in the early 1970s. I have been keeping a weather eye out ever since, and whenever there is an interview with him, I post a link. Like this one:
Alex Kluft What was the first record you bought?
Jon Anderson: “Rebel Rouser” by Duane Eddy.
CMM: How did you get into music?
JA: My brother had a band and we always used to sing together when we worked on the local farm. We were always singing, every since I was a little kid. We had a band in 63’ 50 years in the business, would you believe?

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?
Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
