RICK WAKEMAN: King Arthur live (1975)

I remember back in 1976 when I was at boarding school, one of the boys in the senior dormitory (which is where I spent two and a half unhappy terms until I was expelled) had actually seen this gig. His parents were something at the BBC, and took him to London especially. I have always felt envious of him.

For ages there has been a terrible version of this video circulating the internet. Now, I have found this, and it is so good that I thought that I was duty bound to post it. Does the rest of the concert still exist? I would love to see it...

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
