Call it luck or great planning. All four members of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young will be together again on Oct. 26-27 for the Bridge School Benefit Concert in Mountain View, Calif. The show will no doubt whet the appetite of fans of the band, especially those anticipating a 40th anniversary tour in 2014.
Stephen Stills talked to the Boston Globe about a potential tour and while he didn’t elaborate on any 2014 plans, he revealed the reunion date for this fall. Neil Young News points out that stars seem to be aligning for something bigger. Neil Young recently cancelled tour dates with Crazy Horse. Stills covered ‘Rockin’ In the Free World’ with his new blues band the Rides (to rave reviews). And the much-talked about live album from 1974 was pushed back to coincide with the 40th anniversary.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
