UPDATE: The full line up has been revealed as Gavin Harrison, Bill Rieflin, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Mel Collins, Jakko Jakszyk and Robert Fripp.
The progressive rock world is about to explode as it has been confirmed by original King Crimson guitarist/member Robert Fripp that the band is back! In a blog post on his website, Fripp writes that “…King Crimson VIII moved to its next stage of actualization,” and that the eighth incarnation of the group will not one, not two, but three drummers! Fripp then explains that the reformation brings together a very different group of people than ever before: “…seven players, four English and three American“.
