Brand X : Is There Anything About?
01/24/2014
Earlier, I discussed the solo album of bassist Percy Jones , and here is their seventh release , while the latter with drummer Phil Collins . Yes , it was a jazz fusion band , which was active between 1975 and 1980 . The group consisted of the aforementioned Phil Collins (drums ) , Percy Jones aforementioned (bass ) , John Goodsall ( guitar) and Robin Lumley (keyboards ) . Although so they split in 1980 , they still had to deliver an album under their contract , and that was this drive . They had three or four tracks are unfinished , and with some modifications and remixes , extended keyboardist Robin Lumley those from the six tracks that are here for me. The album came out in 1982 , and the music did not seem totally on what Phil Collins released elsewhere . With ' Ipanaemia ' catch them on a track written by John Goodsall , and a jazz rock song . " A Longer April ' is actually an extension of' April ' 1979 , and it's a dreamy , floaty piece. " Modern, Noisy , and Effective " is an upbeat poppy track with synth and bass. ' Swan Song ' has more pop influences . The title track is a real jam session , somewhat funky . " TMIU - ATGA ' actually stands for ' They're Making It Up As They Go Along ' . The song was recorded during an improvisation Lumley , fellow keyboardist Robinson and bassist John Giblin and Lumley threw it on the album . One of the best tracks , however . Fans did , however, on a death struggle .

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
