Yes appearance a harbinger of things to come

They have survived myriad changes in band personnel, one splinter group and the coming and going of Rick Wakeman over the last 46 years.

What started out as a new band with Jon Anderson, Peter Banks, Bill Bruford, Tony Kaye and Chris Squire in 1968 has evolved into today’s lineup, which features Jon Davison, Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Alan White and Squire. Except for Davison, all of today’s members have previously been in the band at one time or another.

On July 8, Yes will release its 21st studio album, “Heaven and Earth,” with lyrics by Davison. The band worked with legendary producer Roy Thomas Baker (The Cars) and will be able to feature some new tunes in concert.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
