The Rick Wakeman Gloucester Concert Festival 2013

File:Rickwakemanmoog.jpgThere has been great excitement and some speculation in social media circles surrounding the Rick Wakeman Concerts in Gloucester in June this year. We would like to reassure everyone that every effort is being made to finalise and share with you the arrangements for the creation of a unique Rick Wakeman music experience, with the opportunity to see, hear and uniquely experience not just one but two great Wakeman concept works: King Arthur & The Knights of the Round Table, (with more than 40 minutes worth of new additional music previously never heard), and the highly acclaimed re-recorded lengthened classic, Journey to the Centre of the Earth.
Please let any rumour-mongers remember that these two concerts on consecutive evenings in the City of Gloucester have also been agreed to be specially performed by Rick to be in support of great charitable causes, including the Gloucester Cathedral Fund, the Gloucester Mystery Plays & Re-enactments Medieval City Festival and the Gloucester Theatres Association which helps performers young and old to carry on entertaining and educating us all through the mediums of theatre and music.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
