COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS: Judy Dyble

The Gonzo Daily Countdown to Christmas begins today. Christmas music can lift your heart, move you to tears and be a genuinely spiritual experience. On the other hand it can make you want to throw up!

We have asked a whole slew of Gonzofolk for their top five favourite Christmas songs (secular, sacred or both), and will be printing a list, and showing a video every day until after Christmas. Today we hear from Judy Dyble:

Hi Jon
Here you are..
'The Rocking Carol'
'River' (Joni Mitchell) sung by Chris While/St Agnes Fountain
'In the Bleak Midwinter'
'The Zither Carol'
'The Sussex Carol'
Mostly very traditional, but there you go :-)

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
