‘It’s got a unique flow to it’: Billy Sherwood completes work on new album by Star Trek’s William Shatner by S

Yes alum Billy Sherwood is shooting a video today for the title track of the new album by Star Trek’s William Shatner, having been an integral part of the forthcoming Ponder the Mystery project.
The ever-busy Sherwood, who worked with Yes throughout the 1990s, is also producing a new record from Dale Bozzio (Frank Zappa/Missing Persons), a Doors tribute project, and a new fusion band called One Nation. But, clearly, the Shatner album has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience for this sci-fi fan.
“Bill invited me to go and to actually be in the video with him — a true honor,” says Sherwood, who worked with Yes throughout the 1990s. He says they are “shooting the video in the Sequoia National Forest, among the huge trees.”

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
