APRIL FOOLS DAMP SQUIB

For months I have been planning an April Fools Day spectacular: Every day when I do the Gonzo Blogs, I take the news stories largely from Google News Alerts. I am always amused by the fact that there are lots of other people with the same names as the Gonzostars for whom I am looking. And I had planned to do the blogs today about them.

The Jon Anderson who runs a used car dealership in Minneapolis, the Judge Smith who is particularly hard on drink drivers in Arkansas, and the Greg Lake who is an actor in a soap opera, for example.

But today, could I find any of these stories? Nope. Not a sausage. So the whole magnificent idea turned round and bit me on the bum. Better luck, I hope, next year.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
