Jon Huntsman gets surprise radio call from Jon Anderson of Yes

It’s not the kind of call a political host gets very often.
Jon Huntsman was hosting his weekly No Labels radio program on Sirius XM on Saturday with No Labels co-founder Ron Christie, when Christie said it'd be a good time to attend to the lit-up switchboard.
Christie patched in "John from New Jersey" who promptly sang "Happy birthday” for Huntsman, whose birthday was March 26.
The unsuspecting Huntsman laughed. “John, let’s not remind folks that you're just another year older and no wiser. I mean, what a horrible place to find yourself in life.”
Christie then revealed the caller's identity.
"In case you are wondering who our mystery guest is, we are pleased to welcome Jon Anderson from the great group Yes."
“No chance!” Huntsman said. “You’ve got to be kidding. I can hardly believe that I am speaking with Jon Anderson. Tell me isn’t so!”
Huntsman went on to praise Anderson’s music as a huge force in his life and, of course, the lives of millions in his generation.
“Look in my iPod and, boy, do I have you singing on a regular basis over the last 30 or 40 years!” Huntsman said. “You’re just a giant.”

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
