To celebrate the 40th anniversary of his career as a solo artist, legendary guitarist Steve Hackett is touring the UK again – with a stop at Ipswich’s Regent Theatre on October 27.

The former Genesis guitarist’s Acolyte to Wolflight with Genesis Revisited tour comes on the back of his most recent chart album, the ethereal Wolflight.

The set list covers a large part of Steve’s huge discography, including early solo hits from Voyage of the Acolyte and Spectral Mornings up his most recent releases. Audiences will also enjoy some Genesis classics, many of which Steve will be playing for the first time in years.

The show is sure to satisfy both old and new fans, retracing the ground-breaking steps which led to Wolflight.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
