"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?" 

WENT TO SEE THE PUPPET

SURROUNDED BY SECURITY

with "Strings Attached"providing the music

i was flummoxed by his promised use of force

Punch to the Judy journalists embedded

I wanted to interview the puppet

His minders said to talk to THE MAN

I saw a suit with a smile (a Banker Man,bankrolling

and asked him WHY?He replied"We have always subsidised distractions-

Bread and Circuses in Roman Times/Pop Music SXSW and Selfie Celebrities for Moderns

Instead of Punch and Judy,we have Kim and Kanye.

Instead of tiny puppet theaters,we have INSTAGRAM and TWITTER

Always remember to TALK TO THE HAND (that feeds you

And never bite the corporate  "leaders"living off your taxes

Sharks make food of their victims.Media assists them!

Comedy is their midwife.Journalists their pilot fish.
