FOG
On the first day of January 2023
i committed to the waters of Barton Springs
It was 6 am-very few others splashed or dived in'
There was a fog like mist upon the waters
As the water temperature was 69 degrees
While the cool chill air above was only 41
I understood then why San Francisco is Carl Sandburg
Why water has so many modes
Why obfuscation is an artform
Why fog is a mask covering all
