Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"

OUTBACK.STARE UP

Stars burn,bright .Obvious

Cities smog hides their brilliance.

Distance sets in.Alienation.

Sometimes stirred again via Hubble &Webb.

We see spiral galaxies.Nebulae bright and colorfilled /brilliant

We forget-all is flux in this firmament.Spaces between space

Distances beyond our time zones.Our tiny home only One.

Millions of Cinderella Planets,Exo-planets sing life..

But different/divergent/dangerous.Too hot.Too cold.Too far.Too old

So we sit and stare UP-@stars whose light is ancient and historic..

Maybe we all came from stars-but that was long ago and far away

And that ticket is always ONE-WAY(no return..

So,we burn..
