Eric Burdon, former Animals fronter, has released the topical video for "Water," the latest single from his upcoming solo effort, 'Til Your River Runs Dry.
According to the legendary howler, the song hits on an important issue—water preservation:
"Some people are squandering the world's most precious resource while others have too little clean water to drink," Burdon told Rolling Stone magazine.
"At the same time, we have tsunamis and cities under water. And yet, we still ignore Mother Nature's warnings. I sing this song in the hope that I can bring some balance to the issue, to bring some awareness of the importance of water to our future on the planet."
'Til Your River Runs Dry, distributed on the ABKCO label, is due January 29.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
