THE ANIMALS’ ERIC BURDON TO RELEASE ”TIL YOUR RIVER RUNS DRY’

Til Your River Runs DryABKCO Records

Eric Burdon will share his thoughts on religion, politics and the environment in songs on his new solo album ”Til Your River Runs Dry.’ The project — scheduled to be released digitally and on vinyl and CD Jan. 29 — includes 12 songs, most of which were written by the Animals frontman.
Additionally, Burdon wil release a single called ‘Water’ from the album on Jan. 15, and perform with the Roots on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ on Jan. 28. A press release states that ”Til Your River Runs Dry’ reflects Burdon’s passion to express his own truth.
Later this month Burdon will take to the road, with eight shows planned through mid-April, including a return to SXSW in Austin, Texas. He’s also working on a memoir and a special 50th anniversary of the Animals collection that’s scheduled for 2013. Last July he underwent back surgery.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
