@ a spot where people are gathering
seeks
a sweet seat/which is denied him
until
he finally finds one/handed a number sheet
(he
finds himself in a Poetry Slam!-and
all
the poetry is performed in Hebrew
Being
a Tall Texan,he decides to bluff his way
listens
deeply to the emotions underlaying
strains
for nuance,subtlety,context
Until
he is sprung by a sharp eyed woman-
"You
don't speak a word of Hebrew!"
That's
the way it is on this small planet-
No
body speaks the Language!
