A copywriter somewhere has got Blows against the Empire and Rage against the Machine mixed up. This is probably a good place to say something about our links. We link to outside articles that we think will interest Gonzo Daily readers. We are not responsible for any errors contained in them...

If 2012 had a rough end for Rrazz Room owners Robert Kotonly and Rory Paull, the pair is starting off 2013 with a bang.
Despite leaving Hotel Nikko under difficult circumstances, they booked Jefferson Starship to play the official opening of their new space, Live at the Rrazz (in the former Cadillac dealership building at 1000 Van Ness Ave.) on Thursday.
The veteran Bay Area rockers, who appeared at the Rrazz Room last year, are doing something new in the new club: playing Jefferson Airplane’s groundbreaking “Surrealistic Pillow” and Jefferson Starship’s first album, 1970’s  “Blows Against the Machine,” in their entirety.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
