LINK: Olias Sequel Is Driving Jon Anderson Crazy

Sequel struggle: Jon Anderson
Jon Anderson says the storyline of his follow-up to Olias Of Sunhillow is driving him crazy because he’s had to rewrite it four times.
He says the work is a “slow-baking cake” but aims to finally release it in due course.
Olias Of Sunhillow was his first solo album. It appeared in 1976 – but the sequel, to be called The Songs Of Zamran: Son Of Olias, has already been underway for six years.
Anderson tells Noise11: “It’s ongoing. I have written the story now five times – it’s driving me crazy.
“It’s not ready yet; It’s like a cake. I have all the ingredients but I haven’t put it in the oven yet.”
But fans who want a hint as to how the album might sound should look no further than his 22-minute piece Open, released last year. “It explains where I am going musically and how Zamram will eventually appear,” he explains.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
