Singer/songwriter Kate Westbrook, composer/pianist Mike Westbrook and saxophonist Chris Biscoe are currently celebrating the Trio’s 30th anniversary with European touring and a new album ‘three into wonderfull” (album of the month in Jazz Magazine).
The Trio is the longest established and most widely travelled of all Mike Westbrook’s ensembles. From the early ‘80s Kate. Mike and Chris have continued to perform regularly throughout Europe as well as touring in Canada, Australia and the Far East. The groups geographical and musical adventures are commemorated in their previous album L’ascenseur/the Lift. “Three into Wonderfull” presents a cross section of the Trio’s recorded work over three decades and includes hitherto unreleased tracks and new recording.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
