Rodney met Silverhead at LAX on our first trip to LA in August of 1972. He arrived with three cars filled with sequined, teenage nymphs. It was a baptism of glitter and glory as we laid waste to the city of devilment at the Whisky a Go Go… the mecca of Babylonian rock and roll and joyful madness….before cocaine psychosis crept in! Innocent degenerates on a trip never to be forgotten. God bless Rodney Bingenheimer.
