THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem


Rob Ayling writes: 

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not? why not indeed!!" SHELL AFTER SHELL SHOCK
HUMPTY DUMPTY EGG LOSS
Living in the script of someone else's horror movie
Abandoned children,feral homeless,neglected aged
Listing litanies does not solve Palestine's Holocaust
Can we at least know the names of those you have killed?
Thrill rides/heart attacks./Casualty/hospitals/Hospice
Accelerated rates of Departure in our Time Zone
Compassion Fatigue.Healers with PTSD.
There are not enough beds.Not enough Grave Space.
So we are Dust again-made small,made little
Just as we are in life/with only anger and a hollow fist
Banned from Paradise for having Knowledge
That pain you feel in your Art?Others sniff and know
They too,suffer.They,too,go through processes of release
Every Body Knows Grief.
