Jon Anderson is to play three acoustic shows during August.
The dates are being dubbed An Acoustic Evening With Jon Anderson – The Voice Of Yes. He will be performing songs from his solo career, as well as Yes material.
There are two dates in the UK. These are at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester on the 4th and Under The Bridge in London on the 10th. He will also play the Taubescenen at Liseberg AB Orgrytevagen in Gothenburg, Sweden on the 15th.
Anderson intends to make his show in Manchester something very special.
This gig will be in the round, and he is encouraging people to film the whole, or even part, of the event on their mobile phones. He then wants fans to send him the results, so that selected videos can be edited together to commemorate the occasion. And should you be lucky enough to have your video chosen for inclusion, then you’ll get a copy of the final, edited version, plus a painting from Anderson.
