CHRIS THOMPSON TOUR DATES

I have very fond memories of Manfred Mann's Earth Band. They seem to have cropped up in my life on many occasions over the past forty years, and I have always been mildly disappointed that I never got to see them. They were my favourite of the projects that Manfred Sepse Lubowitz (you didn't really think his sirname was 'Mann') put together, although the Manfred Mann Chapter Two jazz-rock project on Vertigo records between 1969-71 is also worth investigation.

The mighty Chris Thompson, (one time singer with Manfred Mann's Earth Band, pictured here with Rob Ayling, is going on tour, and here - especially for you - are the dates...

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
