Rick Wakeman to open Age UK Norfolk Spring Fayre - Saturday 28th April

12 April 2012

Rock star, author and radio personality Rick Wakeman will be opening the annual Spring Fayre at the Denny Centre, an Age UK Norfolk Community Support Centre in Diss, on Saturday 28th April.

Try your hand at some traditional amusements such as Bowling for a Pig, Hook a Duck, Guess the Weight of the Cake and Hoopla.

Other attractions at the Fayre will include a raffle, tombola, bric-a-brac and a selection of stalls.

Enjoy indulgent cakes and treat yourself to a bit of pampering with a manicure or Daoyin Tao face massage, all available on the day.

There will also be an Information and Advice stall for those wanting to know more about the services that Age UK Norfolk offers.

The Spring Fayre is a popular community event, with all proceeds going to Age UK Norfolk.

So come along and join Rick Wakeman as he gets the Fayre underway on Saturday 28th April from 10am – 12 noon at the Denny Centre and help support Age UK Norfolk!

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
