It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"
WHILE YOU ARE SLEEPING
ALL TREES ARE BREATHING
transforming carbon dioxide into
oxygen
When you awaken(to birdsong
morning)
You see a clarity that has taken
lifetimes
Trees became casualties when
ignored
They want to be left in
wilderness
We chop and clear/turn them into
houses
Bodies of dead trees lay on lumber
trucks
Perhaps you were a seed once
Maybe you grew like a sapling/thin
,tall
Perhaps you grew among
elders(protected/protective)
In a family of multi-species,with orchestral
birds as soundtracks
Rings let them know how old you were before
tree murder
The desk ,this chair, once grew tall and
higher
Let sleeping trees dream
Awaken to a forest dawning
Be tree.
The Night Life of Trees – gorgeous
handmade art based on ancient Indian mythology
What ancient Indian mythology has to do
with fair-trade entrepreneurship and the timeless love of books.
