THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. 

It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?" 

RETURN TO RETRO
TO REAL OVER VIRTUAL
To books you can hold in your hand
that were held in the hands of others
passed down like a chain of command
Some of these are annotated well
revealing tracks and traces of previous readings
See the rust color of ages in pages past
Hold them like a child of information
Treasure the covers,the binding,art and design
as well as the stories within.You have two hands 
to hold,value,treasure and cherish as you turn
through your seasons and pages of life..
One will always be your second hand!
