THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Tom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. 

It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied with in seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?" 
VALUE AND RESPECT
Paper comes from wood
comes from forests that we love-
multi-species,indigenous
(not mono-pine crying lined plantations
like rows of white dead sticks/stones/bones

Coins come from metal comes from Earth
that we love(it is our only One)
Coins of decapitated Emperors and dead gods

Silicon comes from sand(next to oceans)that we love
We came from water and are made of such...
Waters,tides,moons sing to us!

Imputed values make markets ("precious"metals

Stocks and shares and pigs bellies/futures
rely upon scarcity and abundance.This comes from us
Should we decide to feed all hungry,house all homeless
THAT would be a value higher than love-Service
That comes from us...and is most precious
