ERIK NORLANDER WRITES

Hi Jon,

I hope you're doing well! On Saturday, August 25th, we will play a very special concert in Southern California to celebrate John Payne's 20th Anniversary of joining ASIA. The concert will be held at the Morongo Casino in Cabazon, California, just outside of the desert resort city of Palm Springs. Because it's a casino (and they want you to gamble …), the ticket price is happily a very low $10.

The concert will occur in the casino's prestigious Vibe club, a very nice setting indeed and quite fitting for this celebration. We want to get all friends and fans of the band and this music to come out and join us for this special event. We will of course be selling the new Erik Norlander and GPS Gonzo box sets at the show along with other deluxe deep catalog items.

Would you please help us spread the word on the Gonzo blog? It doesn't have to be in iambic pentameter this time (just a one-time exception, of course ;-). Here is a very nice poster you can use.

Thanks as always,
Erik
And check out the dedicated Gonzo artist page for Asia featuring John Payne, and for Erik solo

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
