THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem

Rob Ayling, yer Gonzo Grande Fromage, writes: 
"Thom the World poet is an old mate of mine from way back in my history. Even pre-dating Voiceprint, when I was running "Otter Songs" and Thom's poetry tapes and guest appearances with Daevid Allen, Gilli Smyth and Mother Gong are well known and highly regarded. It just felt right to include a daily poem from Thom on our Gonzo blog and when I approached him to do so, he replied within seconds!!! Thom is a great talent and just wants to spread poetry, light and positive energy across the globe. If we at Gonzo can help him do that - why not?"
we have come too far
WE ARE NO LONGER 1950
This is not black and white TV
We have a full spectrum of colors and cultures
And words of walls and wars won't work
We do not live under Executive Orders
We have a Congress and a Senate
We elected them to enact effective legislation
Not your random fiat via Tweet @3am
Look around you!White is not a color!
Every shade,shape,style succeeds
To limit these will fail.It is 2017
and Diversity is Heaven.Embrace the Changes!
We are no stranger to weird and wonderful!
LOVE EVERY ONE!Prisons will empty
Gardens will grow again.All magic is reversible
Even retro-spell casting.Even now.ALL CHANGE!
