What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.

AUBURN: The return of Rhyming Liz

As regular readers will know, each sunday I present the notifications of the Gonzo Daily (the postings which go up on Facebook etc) in rhyme. I always try to write something about Auburn and their singer the lovely Liz Lenten (not a bad bit of alliteration) and she usually replies in kind.

Yesterday I wrote:

There are few artists in the Music Biz
who are as good as my friend Liz
(and by the way, 'Indian Summer'
her new album is a real stunner)
but today's story (never mind)
she's leaving the Auburn band behind
but not for good (that would be dire)
she's doing Latitude festival with the choir

Liz replied:

Once again you’ve made my Sunday

Another Gonzo rhyming, fun day

Thanks for keeping up the news

From your little, loving, Auburn muse

And, of course, check out their Gonzo Artist page
