The following message was posted on the official Silverhead page on Facebook after the shows:

“Wow, what a week!!! Its been a long time coming. The guys have finished 2 amazing shows and are now celebrating together before they leave Tokyo.

Many thanks to Vinyl Japan, Tetsuya, Izumi, Shimokitazawa Gardens, the crew and staff for making it all possible. You folks are amazing!

Pete say that the custom Silverhead drum head was put up for auction after the show and raised $22,000 for Japan’s Tsunami Relief fund (yes Dollars, not Yen)!!!!

To our Fans, Friends, and Family. Thank you for your continuing support. Only in our wildest dreams did we ever think this was possible. Please keep posting and visiting our site. Stay tuned for pics and more in the coming days and weeks. It will take some time for everyone to download their personal pics of the trip. We’ll be keeping in touch. Lots of big things in the making. We’re not done yet!”

Both shows were recorded and there are plans for a DVD release later.

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
