The London Acoustic Guitar Show is set to bring some of the world’s greatest acoustic guitarists and best-selling singer-songwriters together for a weekend of exceptional acoustic music. The show takes place at the Olympia Conference Centre, London, on the 22 and 23 of September 2012.

Show organiser and Acoustic Magazine editor, Guy Little: “We wanted to go the extra mile for 2012 and that is exactly what we have done. We have gathered some of the world’s finest acoustic guitar players and put them all under one roof. There is a real mix of artists catering for people of all ages and ability level, from chart-topping acts like Newton Faulkner, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Feeder and Finley Quaye right through to the likes of Andy McKee, Laurence Juber, Gordon Giltrap and Jon Gomm. Plus we have been overwhelmed at how much industry support we have had for this show, which is evident in the quality of the exhibitors that will be appearing alongside the artists.”

Tickets for the show are £15.00 each in advance online and £20.00 on the door for each day. Group tickets may be purchased for groups of 10 or more online only, at a rate of £12.50 each. The full artist line-up and exhibitor list is available online: www.londonacousticguitarshow.com

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
