ANARCHIST FLAGS OF MUSLIN?

Regular readers who have more than a modicum of their attention span left will remember that I posted a list of Martin Birle's Top 5 songs from the early 1980s. This got me thinking. I looked on YouTube and found some of the songs I liked a lot 30 years ago (and remember I was only 22). I found this, and on watching the video I was struck by the thought: WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

I vaguely remember Tony Hadley crowing in The Face (I think) that the video features the anarchist black flag! But an anarchist black flag made of muslin? Bakunin must have been turning in his grave!

...BECAUSE SOME OF US THINK THAT THIS STUFF IS IMPORTANT
What happens when you mix what is - arguably - the world's most interesting record company, with an anarchist manic-depressive rock music historian polymath, and a method of dissemination which means that a daily rock-music magazine can be almost instantaneous?

Most of this blog is related in some way to the music, books and films produced by Gonzo Multimedia, but the editor has a grasshopper mind and so also writes about all sorts of cultural issues which interest him, and which he hopes will interest you as well.
